Dear Parents,
The children and staff have been enjoying out unseasonable weather! The children enjoyed learning about Eric Carle Books last week, and are learning about Jan Brett books this week. We will read the book, "The Mitten," in English, Spanish, and Chinese. We received our outdoor play equipment that we purchased with our Colorado Shines grant money. The children love our new play house, picnic table, and riding toys. Check out the pictures! Spring Break is coming up in March. Preschool will be open all of March, we do not close for Spring Break. We will be holding a "World Language Camp" for school age children.
The camp will cost $240.00 for the week and includes all meals, snacks, and materials.
Children will have language tutoring and studies for one hour each day with our language teacher.
Camp is filling up, so email or call Patty if you would like your school age child to attend.
Please refer your friends and neighbors to our school. Time and time again I hear from parents how much their child is learning here at Global Village. It is our goal to make sure your child is ready for Kindergarten and beyond. We give that one on one attention, and the children benefit.
Thank you to all of the parents that ordered books from Scholastic. The teachers have received over 25 free books! We appreciate your support.
Our theme next week will be Dr. Seuss. We are looking forward to a fun week of literature!
