What are the days and hours of operation?

Our centers are open weekdays, Monday through Friday. The hours are set for the convenience of working parents.

  • The center is open from 6:30 am 6:00 pm. You are welcome to drop off/pick up your kids at the times that work with your schedule.

  • The actual class day will run from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. You can participate in the hours that best meet your personal needs.

  • The centers are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Some centers close early on Christmas Eve. The Ft. Collins center is also closed between Christmas and New Year’s.

  • The centers follow the same inclement weather procedures as the local school district. If the school district’s schools are closed, the center will be closed.

Do you offer a half day option?

  • We do not offer half day programs, but you can drop your children off and pick them up at the times that best suit your schedule.

What Languages do you offer in addition to English?

  • Spanish

  • Mandarin Chinese

  • The Ft. Collins center also offers French.

How much of the instructional day is in the second language?

  • Daily core academic time totals about four hours a day. During that time, children experience up to 50% of academic instruction in Mandarin Chinese or Spanish.

How qualified are your preschool teachers?

  • Our teachers are dedicated educators with preschool credentials in the classroom.

  • They have completed early childhood education credentials and go through the state background check process.

  • We also have aides in the classrooms to help.

Is your preschool licensed?

  • Our centers are licensed and permitted through Colorado’s Health and Human Services Department and the County Health Department.

  • The curriculum aligns with The Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines, Colorado’s Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care & Education Services, and the Colorado Academic Standards for Preschool.

What is included in the fees?

  • The fees cover our complete academic program including learning Mandarin Chinese or Spanish, as well as breakfast, lunch, and a snack. There is no extra charge for early drop-off or late pick-up of students.

What are meals like?

  • We offer breakfast, lunch, and a snack.

  • We are very concerned about health and wellness, which is why our meals are nutritious. They follow the MyPlate guidelines, which replace the older food pyramid guidelines. Our meals comply with the guidelines provided by Colorado’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP guidelines were recently revised to anticipate the new dietary guidelines due from the federal government that will update the current guidelines that were adopted in 2010.

  • Our meal times are a wonderful for children to interact with each other and staff. Parents are always welcome to attend lunch to connect during the day with their child.

Do you provide any support for low income families?

  • We work with the county for CCAP funding.

  • This reduces or eliminates the cost of the program based on the income status of the parents.

Does each child have their own sleeping mat?

  • Each student will have their own mat for nap time.

Do preschool students have their own playground?

  • The preschool has its own playground. It is enclosed by a fence.

Are there special security measures in place for the preschool to limit entry into the building?

  • Only parents with a door code are allowed in the building without ringing a bell to be let in.
