Health and Wellness
  • In 2014, our center in Aurora won a Healthy Way to Grow bronze award for its wellness program in a national competition sponsored by the American Heart Association and Nemours, a national children’s health system.

  • We assess children’s health based on parental input and by monitoring any child’s symptoms. When a child does not feel well, we immediately notify parents.

  • Our wonderful, dedicated, staff is trained in CPR and First Aid.

  • Our comprehensive training, policies and procedures for administering medication ensure safety.

  • As part of personal care, children and staff wash their hands throughout the day.

Nutritious Meals
  • We offer breakfast, lunch, and a snack.

  • We are very concerned about health and wellness, which is why our meals are nutritious. They follow the MyPlate guidelines, which replaced the older food pyramid guidelines. Our meals comply with the guidelines provided by Colorado’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP guidelines were recently revised to anticipate the new dietary guidelines due from the federal government that will update the current guidelines that were adopted in 2010. All perishable food is refrigerated.

  • Our healthy meals and snacks are a wonderful for children to interact with each other and staff. Parents are always welcome to attend lunch to connect during the day with their child.
