From the Director

Parents,

The month is flying by and we have been busy learning and playing at Global Village.  Last week we studied bugs and "earth day."  This week our theme is Nursery Rhymes and the teachers have some fun things planned!  We had fun hunting Easter eggs, as you can see in the pictures.

Important Dates Coming Up Tuesday, May 2nd and Thursday, May 4th

• Parent-Teacher conferences. 

• Please sign up at your child's classroom door for a 20 minute conference.  T

• he teachers look forward to discussing all the academic and social growth your child has made this year! 

Friday, May 12

• Pre K Graduation (for children attending Kindergarten in August)  

• The children are busy practicing their songs and performance for you.  

• We will start at 6:30pm and have refreshments afterwards.

• Children that are not graduating should be picked up no later than 5:30pm on this day, so that we can prepare for this special occasion.  

• Please let Patty know if you can bring refreshments to the graduation. There is a sign up sheet outside the office door. 

GVIP Summer CampSummer camp is right around the corner.  

• We have openings for school age camp. If your school- age child would like to attend summer camp, let Patty know.  We have a special discount for older siblings. 

• The camp starts on June 1st or whenever you need it.

Toddler Room Coming Soon!

• We are opening a toddler room for 1-2 year olds.  

• This will be opening around May 15th.  

• Please speak to Patty if you would like a younger sibling to attend.  

• This classroom is for full time students only(5 days a week)  

• Our focus will be language development as well as a developmental schedule to help toddlers learn and grow!
