Parents, We are looking forward to Pre-K graduation coming up this Friday. We will start at 6:30 pm with refreshments afterward. Most children will be continuing with us for the summer, as we are a year-round, comprehensive Preschool. Congrats to all our friends that will be going to Kindergarten next Fall. We know they will thrive! Toddler Room UpdateOur construction began this weekend for our Toddler room. As part of that, we have closed off our lobby. This will also make our school more secure, with another door to enter. The project will be completed on May 17th.
The toddler room will open on June 1!
This class is for children 1 year up to 21/2 years.
We will focus on language development, social skills, and early learning skills.
We have openings and look forward to enrolling younger siblings for the first openings. Let Patty know if you intend to enroll your toddler to start in June.
The Toddler room is for 5 full days a week only, and limited to 10 children. (If your older child attends GVI 3 days a week, speak to Patty to see what we can work out.)
Summer CampMs. Stephanie will move to be our summer camp lead Teacher. Her degree is in Elementary Education and she will work well with the school age children. She will move back to teach Pre-K on August 15th. We will study a different country each week, starting June 1st. We are excited to bring in guests from different countries to share their culture with the children. Our first Country will be Brazil, starting the week of May 30th. Water Days This Summer
Wednesday will be water day starting in June.
Please send a towel and bathing suit every Wednesday.
All children must bring sunscreen to school too.
It helps if you apply sunscreen on your child in the morning before they come. The teachers will apply in the afternoon or as needed.
Please refer your friends and neighbors to our language immersion preschool and summer camp. You are our best advertising! We will be closed on Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day.
